Day 1
Hotel/Resort: Treasure Cove, Kovalam
Arrival at Trivandrum and proceed to Kovalam
As you arrive at Trivandrum airport/railway station, our representative would be waiting for you at the arrival area. It takes about 30 minutes of drive from both airport and railway station to reach Kovalam beach. Kovalam is famous for its salubrious beaches and a variety of aspects built over the years, exclusively for inbound tourists.
Day 2
Hotel/Resort: Treasure Cove, Kovalam
Explore the beauty of beaches
Kovalam is a beach town that has ranked high among international tourists is an ideal destination to feel the tropical sun and to feel contented about the golden suntan. Also, on second day, like most of the water enthusiasts you can also plan to have some of the beach activities to indulge in like - kayaking, swimming, surfing and skiing.
Day 3
Hotel/Resort: Alleppey, Houseboat
Check-out from the resort and proceed to houseboat, Alleppey
By about 9.00 AM, we shall check-out of the resort and head for houseboat at Alleppey. It takes about 200 km (4 hours) to reach houseboat boarding point at Alleppey. We shall target checking in to the houseboat by 12 PM. Houseboats are the gateways that welcomes you to the 'Venice of East'. All the meals are served here in houseboat, starting with the welcome drink and followed by lunch. Our chefs have gained global accolades for their culinary skills in preparing some of the famous Kerala delicacies. You may let us know in advance on the kind of cuisine of your choice, so that we shall make it ready before your arrival.
Day 4
Hotel/Resort: Hotel Sandra Palace, Thekkady
Check-out from houseboat and proceed to Thekkady
It takes about 180 kms (5 hours) from Kumarakom to reach the wild life destination - Thekkady. Thekkady is one of the famous destinations for its varied flora and fauna. The evening may be spent in boating in Thekkady lake. You may also get to spot some of the rare species of wild animals like Indian Gaur, Spotted Deer, Monkeys, wide varieties of birds, Elephants etc. Post this, you may sleep overnight at the hotel.
Day 5
Hotel/Resort: Hotel C7, Munnar
Check-out from Thekkady and proceed to Munnar
It takes about 90 kms (3 hours) from Thekkady to reach the valley of Munnar. This journey would be one of the most exciting ones in your entire travel, with all beauties of Western Ghats captured on, like a canvas. On the way, there are several attractions like Spice Plantations, Valara waterfalls, Cheeyappara waterfalls, Karadippara view point, Attukkad water fall view etc. The check-in to Resort at Munnar can be at around 12 PM, post which you may either take a short nap in the cool ambience of Munnar or venture out for some of the short sightseeing trips.
Day 6
Hotel/Resort: Hotel C7, Munnar
Getting close with Munnar and experiencing some pleasant surprises
Munnar drives its name from the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale. Of the main attractions, Mattupetty is one of the most popular picnic spots where you can opt for activities like boating and horse riding. Others include Indo Swiss Dairy Farm, Echo Point, Pothenmedu, Devikulam hill station, Chithirapuram, Nayamakad and Power House Waterfalls. It's not just site visits and beauty of these locations, but we have a few surprises also in store for you.
Day 7
Hotel/Resort: Munnar and Cochin
Finish breakfast, return to Cochin - indulge in shopping and catch return train/flight
By 11 AM, after having breakfast, we shall set on our journey back to Cochin. It takes approximately four hours to reach Cochin. Cochin offers you with various opportunities for shopping and some of the heritage reminiscences of colonial invasions. By evening, you may catch the return train/flight back home, carrying the memories of Kerala and our unmatched hospitality.
